The Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Hotel Management & Hospitality at RITSDC, Lucknow is a comprehensive, industry-aligned 3-year undergraduate programme designed to equip students with advanced technical skills, managerial competencies, and professional acumen required to excel in the global hospitality sector.

Students may exit after Year 1 with a Certificate, after Year 2 with a Diploma, or complete all 3 years for the B.Voc Degree. Credits are preserved for re-entry.
Candidate must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent examination from any recognized board (CBSE / UP Board / ICSE or equivalent) in any stream — Arts, Science, or Commerce.
Minimum 45% aggregate marks in qualifying examination. For SC/ST/OBC candidates: 40% marks as per UP State reservation policy. Appearing candidates may apply provisionally.
Minimum age: 17 years as on 1st July of the admission year. Maximum age: 25 years (General). Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per UP government norms.
Basic proficiency in Hindi and/or English is required. Communication skills are assessed during the admission interview. No prior hospitality experience is mandatory for freshers.
Candidate should be physically and medically fit. A medical certificate from a registered MBBS doctor will be required at the time of admission. Good grooming and communication skills are preferred.
Candidates with a 1-year Certificate in Hotel Management or IHM Craft Course are eligible for direct admission into 2nd Year (3rd Semester) subject to availability and university approval.
