The Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Hotel Management & Hospitality at RITSDC, Lucknow is a comprehensive, industry-aligned 3-year undergraduate programme designed to equip students with advanced technical skills, managerial competencies, and professional acumen required to excel in the global hospitality sector.

Developed in alignment with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with extensive practical training, live hotel internships, and industry mentorship programs.

यह कार्यक्रम राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के अनुरूप डिज़ाइन किया गया है जो छात्रों को होटल और आतिथ्य उद्योग में सफल करियर के लिए तैयार करता है। व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण और उद्योग से सीधा जुड़ाव इस पाठ्यक्रम की विशेषता है।

Educational Qualification

शैक्षणिक योग्यता

Candidate must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent examination from any recognized board (CBSE / UP Board / ICSE or equivalent) in any stream — Arts, Science, or Commerce.

Minimum Marks Required

न्यूनतम अंक

Minimum 45% aggregate marks in qualifying examination. For SC/ST/OBC candidates: 40% marks as per UP State reservation policy. Appearing candidates may apply provisionally.

Age Limit

आयु सीमा

Minimum age: 17 years as on 1st July of the admission year. Maximum age: 25 years (General). Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per UP government norms.

Language Proficiency

भाषा दक्षता

Basic proficiency in Hindi and/or English is required. Communication skills are assessed during the admission interview. No prior hospitality experience is mandatory for freshers.

Medical Fitness

स्वास्थ्य मानदंड

Candidate should be physically and medically fit. A medical certificate from a registered MBBS doctor will be required at the time of admission. Good grooming and communication skills are preferred.

Lateral Entry (2nd Year)

पार्श्व प्रवेश

Candidates with a 1-year Certificate in Hotel Management or IHM Craft Course are eligible for direct admission into 2nd Year (3rd Semester) subject to availability and university approval.
